June Income Update

June Income UpdateI hope y’all had an awesome holiday weekend.

I ended up with one sick kid but we still managed to have a good time.

On Thursday we had to pack up a bunch of junk to my Dad’s store for a yard sale we were having in the parking lot. Then we flew kites, went to the Coon Hunters Club, and walked through the creek. On Friday we went to my Dad’s house and watched the fireworks that the neighbors put on. On Saturday we went to the local festival which is insanely expensive and a huge rip off, but at least Kailyn had fun. And Sunday was our day of relaxation!

It was a busy weekend and to be honest with you, I’m really glad that it’s Monday.

June Income

I didn’t hit the $2,500 mark this month. I missed it by $130.

Usually I have one time freelance writing work come in. I get random emails from site owners asking if I can write them a batch of blog posts. That didn’t happen this month so my freelancing income was less than the projected $2,000.

HOWEVER, I did end up getting that virtual assistant job I told you about a few weeks ago.

I just started and since it’s monthly bill you won’t see that reflected in my income until August. So expect to see a nice little increase in August’s income.

I am really motivated to earn and save more money. But since most freelance jobs are billed by the month any extra work I do this month won’t be reflected until I actually get paid. So even though my July income may be a little low, know that I’m now back to hustling!

So here’s how everything panned out for the month:

Freelancing (Writing & Virtual Assisting Work): $1705

Blogging Income: $664.19

Total = $2,369.19

I’m looking forward to an awesome July!

How about you? Earn any side income this month?

I know right! It doesn’t seem to matter what I post or how much I post. Pretty much all of my blogging income comes from two articles I wrote that do extremely well in Google. I’ve been trying to replicate that. Without those two articles my blogging income would probably be around $200. Although I am trying to post more. I worked ahead a little bit and have stuff scheduled for this week and next week! Woohoo lol

If you start a finance blog let me know. Would love to check it out!

Man, you came close! I was complaining that our advertising dollars were down about a week ago and it was as if I’d said it to the world, because in three days my doors came crashing in with deals. Now if every day were like that!

I had a little slide back in June too. Goes to show how inconsistent the freelance income can be. Very impressed by your numbers, hoping to get to the 2500/month mark in the next 6 months.

I think you’ll get there without a problem. Been seeing you everywhere!! You’re doing awesome.

you’ve grown so quickly! Congrats! I average about $1500 a month on side hustle income. I feel like I would need more time to earn any more. At this point, I’m pretty maxed out.

I think $1500 is great for side income. This is now my full time income!

That is a decent side income for freelancing, you must be really hustling. I work for myself full-time so I don’t really have side income anymore. However, business is growing steady and the income is reflecting that. Keep up the good work!

I wish it was side income..haha. It’s full time income now which believe it or not is actually more than what I made at my last day job.

Great income for June as it is usually a slow month. Do you use google for advertising or another ad service? Hope you hit the goal in July.

The blog income up their was $514.19 from Google Adsense. I also recently started using Media.net but I won’t receive my first payout from that until later this month.
