The theme of this giveaway is “the most exciting vacation you have ever taken”, so I want to tell you a little bit about mine!
I was in the fifth grade when my very generous grandma paid the way for my parents, two brothers, and me to spend a week at Disney World. The vacation was unexpected and very last minute – I was floored.
I remember it being near the end of the school year and I was ecstatic that I got to take the last week off of school to head to Florida. We flew to Florida and it was me and my brothers first trip on an airplane. We were in awe.
We stayed at Disney World in a small trailer for the week and spent most of our time trying to get autographs from Disney stars. I still have my autograph book filled with signatures of Goofy, Chip and Dale, Ariel, Minnie Mouse, and many more.
It was an amazing week filled with great family memories. It honestly was the best vacation I have ever had and I hope to one day be able to take my girls there.

I remember going to Disney World for the first time when I was 9 and my brothers were 7 and 3. At that age, it was pretty much the coolest thing ever. Definitely an experience I’d like to have with my kids when they get a little older.
That’s around what age I was (I think I was 10) My brothers would have been 8 and 6. So it was the coolest thing ever for us as well! It was a very good childhood memory.
I would say that the first cruise we took was our best vacation. It jump started our love of cruising and set me on a new career path owning my own travel agency.
That is awesome! I have never been on a cruise before but I would love to go on one!
The most exciting vacation that I took was the second vacation with my husband’s family when we were just dating. It was my first cruise ever and we were on the biggest cruise ship in the world which was really cool. He also proposed to me on that vacation.
That would definitely be a memorable vacation! It sounds like cruises are the way to go.
They’re a great vacation in my opinion and make it easier to disconnect, also much more affordable than most people think.
Reading your vacation story reminded my of when I went to Disney World. I was 18 and it was also my first time flying. Everyone should go once in their life!
Ahh Disney…the happiest place on Earth! I remember my parents taking us…I think I was 9 or 10 years old. It was a bus tour/trip from NYC to Florida. It was the best vacation ever as a kid. Best vacation ever is Hawaii…my wife definitely wants to go back. Kind of a long flight though…but that’s probably the only bad thing about the trip. My friend went recently too and used credit card rewards…

Favorite vacation is the one we just took to St Augustine, FL in April. First real vacation and with our two kiddos!
Wow, that’s almost the same for me! My first time on a plane was also to Disney World, and it was a vacation my dad put together and took me on when I was in middle school. It was a great time, though very chaotic!
My first Disney visit was when we took our daughter last year. It was really fun to see it through her eyes and I hope it makes a memory like yours when she is older.
