HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

The girls and I went trick or treating last night. They had planned on being a cop (Kailyn) and a fairy (Ava) and then decided to visit their dress up boxes for last minute wardrobe changes. We ended up with a Sofia and an Elsa!

elsaAnd it was cold!! (Around 45 degrees.) Luckily they both tired after about an hour of trick or treating so we were able to make our usual 7 p.m. bath time. 🙂

It was fun but we actually have a super special weekend planned. Since we didn’t take a vacation I decided I’d take the girls to see Disney on Ice! It was kind of planned on a whim after we stumbled upon some Disney on Ice YouTube videos. (They watched them for a good hour.) Then we discovered this weekend was the only chance we’d have to see the show until next year. I might just be more excited than they are. Have you ever seen it?

Any big Halloween plans for the weekend?

I just plan on passing out candy to Trick-or-Treaters tonight and then going to the Haunted House with my brother and parents. It’s a tradition as we go to the Haunted House every year on Halloween. So much fun! Have a good weekend 🙂

I haven’t been to a haunted house for so long. I would love to go. I’ll have to add it to the list for next year. Have fun 🙂

I’ve always wanted to see an ice show! I think this is a great idea!

You guys trick or treat on the 30th?

Yeah trick or treat night is always the last Thursday of the month in my county and the last Wednesday of the month in the neighboring county 🙂 Although it’d make more sense if it was on a Friday, in my opinion.

As long as they bring home candy to share with mom I don’t mind what night they trick or treat on. My favourite are coffee crisp chocolate bars. Not sure if you have those in the U.S.

Awww looks like you guys had fun!! We took our girls trick or treating last Friday (ages 2 and 1). Tonight we might do a little bit of trick or treating but not much – it’s cold here too and they go to bed early!!

Hope you have a great weekend!

Cute photos! We had a party and haunted house (in my garage) at my place. It was awesome except that it actually snowed!!! So much for the bon-fire we had planned. But all in all it was a good time.
